Here is my reply for the detailed information:
1) We use a tumbler to do a process called “pre-shrunk” on the bandages
I's the semi-product of supporter, so as to assure the bandages, it won’t have a further substantial shrink after the supporters are completed. However, there still is a shrink issue existed anyway.
The shrink ratio left is likely to be:
For the width, it could be shrunk about 1/8” – 3/8” (3mm – 9mm) after 3 to 6 months use.
For the length, it could be shrunk about 1/4”, after 3 to 6 months use.
This is for your reference only.
2) How we do the pre-shrunk?
- A machine dryer (a tumbler) is regularly used at the 55C temperature setting.
- It is regularly used at 20 minutes No Heat or Air only setting, and follow by another 20 minutes Heat setting
to complete the pre-shrunk procedure.
